The Wild Card round on Saturday, January 13, sees the Kansas City Chiefs facing off against the Miami Dolphins at Arrowhead.
As anticipation builds, all eyes turn to star tight end Travis Kelce, and the burning question on fans’ minds is whether his girlfriend, Taylor Swift, will be present at the game.
In an interview with Extra TV on Friday, January 12, host Billy Bush attempted to extract this information from none other than Travis Kelce’s mother, Donna Kelce.
However, Donna was not playing along. “Not doing it. I’m not playing that game,” she declared with a laugh.
Despite Swift attending nine games this season, Donna kept tight-lipped about the possibility of her attending the Chiefs’ first playoff game at GEHA Field.

While Donna remained coy about Swift’s attendance, it’s confirmed that Brittany Mahomes, Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes’ wife, will be there, though in her own suite. Donna shared, “Brittany has her own box.”
Addressing concerns about the expected freezing weather, Donna reassured, “I will be in the skybox, so it won’t be too cold.
But the windows will be open, and I am in the first row, so it’s still cold. I have to have a blanket, and I’ll have my winter coat on.”
In a playful nod to Taylor Swift, the Chiefs incorporated her hit song “Love Story” in their playoff hype video earlier in the week.
The video, narrated by Chiefs announcer Mitch Holthus, celebrated the team’s journey, with Holthus declaring, “Valentine’s Day is jealous of the love story that we have. Who could ever separate the end zone from Trav?”
Even outside of the hype video, Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes affirmed Swift’s status in the Chiefs Kingdom during an interview with CBS Mornings last month.
He stated, “Now, she’s just part of Chiefs Kingdom, and she’s part of the team.”
Travis Kelce echoed this sentiment, emphasizing that for him, it’s just about Travis and the great woman he’s fortunate to be with.

Looking beyond the playoff game, Travis Kelce dismissed any retirement plans, expressing his love for the game and the daily challenge it presents.
The 34-year-old tight end declared, “I have no reason to stop playing football. Man, I love it.”
When asked about potential post-retirement plans, Kelce shared, “That’s the point of the offseason,” hinting at exploring other interests, including his newfound joy in on-camera work, inspired by his ‘SNL’ experiences.
