Kansas City Chiefs’ tight end, Travis Kelce, and pop sensation Taylor Swift continue to make headlines with their blossoming relationship.
The couple was recently spotted at a holiday party in Kansas City, igniting a wave of rumors when a photo of them at Miracle on Main Street on December 1 went viral on social media.
In the picture, while Kelce’s back faces the camera, fans zoomed in on Swift’s top, speculating that the duo might be wearing matching sweaters.
This fueled excitement among fans, recalling Kelce’s tweet from 2011, where he humorously recounted an encounter with a squirrel.
Despite the lack of a clear view of Kelce’s black sweater or a detailed image of Swift, fans couldn’t help but wonder if they were indeed twinning.
Interestingly, it seems Chiefs players rocking matching outfits with their partners was a prevailing theme at the holiday party.
Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes and his wife, Brittany Mahomes, attended the event in matching reindeer onesies, while Chiefs tight end Blake Bell and his wife, Lyndsay, sported matching Christmas tree onesies.
The festive atmosphere seemed to extend beyond the playing field.
Adding to the intrigue, Taylor Swift, currently on a break from her “Eras” tour until February 7, 2024, flew straight to Kansas City after her final show of the year.
Despite a brief detour to London for Beyonce’s “Renaissance” film premiere, Swift made it back to Kansas City in time for the Chiefs’ Week 13 matchup against the Green Bay Packers on December 3.
Green Bay Packers head coach Matt LaFleur even hinted at Swift’s attendance during a press conference, stating, “Is she supposed to be here? That’s what I’ve heard.”
While acknowledging the celebrity presence, LaFleur emphasized the team’s focus on the game.

Swift did indeed attend the game at Lambeau Field, spotted alongside Brittany Mahomes an hour before kickoff, capturing a pregame video of the wintry weather.
It seems Swift’s support brings good luck to Kelce, as evidenced by the Chiefs’ 31-17 victory over the Las Vegas Raiders.
During the game, Kelce achieved a significant milestone, becoming the first tight end in NFL history to surpass 11,000 career yards.
Despite Swift not being physically present at Allegiant Stadium, she showed her support by “liking” a post on the Chiefs’ Instagram page celebrating Kelce’s record-breaking feat.
On a recent episode of the “New Heights” podcast, Kelce expressed his gratitude, saying, “Thanks, Tay. I appreciate you on the Chiefs page supporting.”
Interestingly, Kansas City boasts a 4-0 record in games attended by Swift, and Kelce’s performance notably excels when she’s in the stands.
CBS Sports reported that in games with Swift present, Kelce has impressive statistics, with 34 catches for 432 yards, averaging 108 yards per game, and scoring two touchdowns.
In contrast, in games without Swift, Kelce’s numbers dip, with 36 catches for 300 yards, averaging 50 yards per game and three touchdowns.
The synergy between Travis Kelce and Taylor Swift has not only captivated fans but also appears to bring positive energy to the Chiefs on the field.
As the couple’s relationship continues to evolve, their joint appearances add an extra layer of excitement for both football and music enthusiasts alike.
