Former NFL tight end and future Hall of Famer, Rob Gronkowski, has voiced his opinion on the NFL’s extensive coverage of superstar singer-songwriter Taylor Swift.
During an appearance on the “Up and Adams” podcast, hosted by Kay Adams, Gronkowski expressed his viewpoint, which diverged from that of the host.
While he doesn’t mind occasional glimpses of the 12-time Grammy Award winner during broadcasts, he believes that the NFL has been going overboard with its Taylor Swift coverage in recent weeks.

Swift initially caused a sensation in September when she made a high-profile appearance at Arrowhead Stadium during the Kansas City Chiefs’ Week 3 contest against the Chicago Bears.
In a stadium suite, she was seen alongside Donna Kelce, the mother of Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce and Philadelphia Eagles center Jason Kelce.
After Kansas City’s decisive victory over Chicago, the two celebrities were spotted leaving the stadium together, essentially confirming their romantic involvement.
The New York Post reported that NBC’s cameras panned to Swift in the suite at MetLife Stadium a staggering 17 times during the Chiefs’ Week 4 win over the New York Jets on “Sunday Night Football.”
Although she was absent during the Chiefs’ Week 5 road game against the Minnesota Vikings, she returned to Arrowhead for the last two games.
Kansas City hosted the Denver Broncos on “Thursday Night Football” in Week 6 and welcomed the Los Angeles Chargers to town in Week 7 last Sunday.
Impressively, Kansas City had secured six consecutive victories after losing their season opener against the Detroit Lions.
In a surprising move, the NFL gained attention in early October when it changed its banner photo on X (formerly known as Twitter) to feature three images of Swift cheering during the “SNF” game. The league also altered its X bio to read, “We had the best day with you today.”
This decision was met with mixed reactions, and the NFL faced backlash when it briefly changed its Instagram account’s bio to “Chiefs are 2-0 as swifties” before subsequently removing the words.
