Following his postgame conversation with NFL media representatives in Germany, Miami Dolphins wide receiver Tyreek Hill delivered a message to Chiefs Kingdom and his social media followers.
In a promising tone, Hill stated, “Tough one today against a good opponent, but we will see them again ✌🏿,” hinting at a potential rematch.
However, it’s worth noting that such a rematch can only happen if the Dolphins and Chiefs cross paths in the playoffs, making Hill’s statement undeniably bold. Hill’s thoughts on the Kansas City-Miami matchup didn’t end there.
He went on to express, “I feel like this is football’s new rivalry,” making him a dynamic playmaker who acknowledges the significance of the game. He added, “So, it was a fun day to play football in a different location. Had a blast.”
Tyreek Hill Fuels Chiefs-Dolphins Rivalry:
While opinions about Hill’s talkative nature may differ, it undeniably serves one purpose: reigniting the spirit of rivalry among KC fans. The AFC West division hasn’t been the most competitive since Patrick Mahomes II’s draft in 2017. In fact, the Chiefs have maintained their dominance over the division, an impressive accomplishment in itself.
The rivalries between Chiefs Kingdom and teams like the Las Vegas Raiders, Denver Broncos, and Los Angeles Chargers, while intense, don’t quite fit the true definition of “rivals.”
Most Kansas City fans might argue that their most significant rivals in recent years have been Joe Burrow and the Cincinnati Bengals, with the Buffalo Bills also entering the conversation.
Burrow seemed to have the upper hand against Mahomes heading into last year’s AFC championship. However, the Chiefs managed to even the score with their first head-to-head victory under their current quarterbacks and another Super Bowl ring to add to their collection.
As for Hill and the Dolphins, they have more to prove to establish themselves as Kansas City’s true rivals. Miami has yet to defeat a team with a winning record, and the Chiefs’ Week 9 matchup initially appeared one-sided with a 21-0 lead.
Nonetheless, “the Cheetah” seems determined to make it happen, whether by provoking Chris Jones or evaluating the strengths of Dolphins QB Tua Tagovailoa compared to Mahomes.

Speaking of byes, despite their offensive struggles in 2023, the Chiefs stand at an impressive 7-2 as they head into their Week 10 off week. Coach Reid also confirms that the team is injury-free.
The Chiefs will return to action on November 20 for a Monday Night Football matchup against the Philadelphia Eagles in Kansas City. This will mark the first meeting between the two franchises and the Kelce brothers since the 2022-23 Super Bowl.
