Could the NFL’s Kansas City Chiefs’ tight end, Travis Kelce, be gearing up for his in-ring debut at WrestleMania 40, all in the name of defending the honor of pop sensation Taylor Swift?
Ever since the public revelation of Kelce’s relationship with Taylor Swift, their connection has been a focal point of media attention.
Swift’s presence at Kelce’s games has undeniably contributed to a spike in viewership, as fans of the “Shake it Off” star eagerly hope to catch a glimpse of her.
Notably, the Chiefs’ recent 23-20 victory over the New York Jets witnessed a 53% surge in female viewers aged 12-17 and a 24% increase in female viewers aged 18-24.
WWE, it seems, is not immune to the ‘Swelce’ frenzy. During a post-Fastlane press conference, IYO SKY was asked about the possibility of facing the 12-time Grammy Award-winning artist in the ring.
Grayson Waller vs. Taylor Swift

In recent weeks, SmackDown’s Grayson Waller has taken it upon himself to challenge Swift, boldly declaring that Kelce is “settling for a six” during an episode of The Bump.
Waller’s comments stirred the emotions of ‘Swifties’ worldwide, and he further aggravated matters by likening the fanbase to wrestling enthusiasts.

This week, Waller took to social media with a sarcastic ‘apology,’ fueling the flames of his earlier comments. On the latest episode of The Bump, Waller continued his tirade, describing Swift’s fans as “twos trying to defend a six” and even as “swamp donkeys.”
Grayson Waller Calls Out Travis Kelce
As Waller persistently targets Taylor Swift, speculation has arisen about a potential showdown between him and Travis Kelce. On The Bump, Waller officially issued the challenge.
“I’ve heard Travis Kelce is a wrestling fan, right? So hey, we’re in Philly. Maybe next year, lad, why don’t you step into the ring and defend her honor? He seems like a good guy. Why don’t you come and say something to me about it, lad?”
Despite Waller’s verbal onslaught, it appears that this ‘feud’ has remained a one-sided affair, with neither Kelce nor Swift responding to Waller’s provocations.
Kelce is well-known as a wrestling enthusiast and has incorporated wrestling catchphrases into his post-game interviews.
