Amidst the excitement of the Kansas City Chiefs’ playoff game against the Miami Dolphins, Taylor Swift managed to steal the spotlight with a custom-made Chiefs puffer jacket adorned with her boyfriend Travis Kelce’s jersey number.

While some jokingly suggested that Kelce’s star power could easily secure such a jacket from Nike, the real story behind the viral coat took an unexpected turn.

In a surprising twist, Brittany Mahomes, wife of Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes, sported a strikingly similar jacket with her husband’s name and jersey number.

Both jackets were the creative work of Kristin Juszczyk, wife of San Francisco 49ers fullback Kyle Juszczyk.

The intriguing backstory of these unique jackets was shared by KRON4 News’ Kate Rooney.

Kristin had previously designed a piece for Brittany Mahomes, and this week, she sent an original-design puffer for Brittany to wear.

Taking a bold chance, Kristin also sent one for Taylor Swift, hoping the pop sensation would don the garment. To everyone’s surprise, Swift indeed wore the custom creation.

Expressing her gratitude, Kristin shared the behind-the-scenes process of crafting the custom puffers for Swift and Mahomes.

The moment Swift and Mahomes arrived at GEHA Field, Kristin posted, “An honor of a lifetime!!!!! Thank you @taylorswift & @brittanylynne.” Brittany added, “We love you and are so thankful ❤️🙏🏻.”

Kristin’s creative touch extends beyond Swift and Mahomes; she has also designed pieces for gymnast Simone Biles and puffer vests for 49ers quarterback Purdy and wide receiver Deebo Samuel.

In a separate instance, when the Kansas City Chiefs secured a victory against the Cincinnati Bengals on December 31, Taylor Swift showcased another custom jacket, this time designed by Jeff Hamilton.

Despite the initial speculation that Swift might be wearing Kelce’s jacket, a closer look revealed a personalized touch with “Tay Tay” embroidered near the right pocket.

Jeff Hamilton’s varsity jacket, featuring lambskin leather sleeves and premium wool, is priced at $850.

Swift’s debut in the custom design received praise not only from fans but also from Kelce, who enthusiastically commented on Hamilton’s Instagram post.

While Swift and Mahomes sported matching jackets to the Chiefs-Dolphins playoff game, they did not sit together as in previous games.

Instead, Swift found herself in the company of Kelce’s mother, Donna Kelce, during the win-or-go-home matchup.

Donna Kelce shared with Extra TV that she and KC Current co-owner would be in separate suites, with Brittany having her own box.

However, as the Chiefs dominated the game, Brittany joined their suite to celebrate.

Despite the freezing weather at GEHA Field, Donna remained unfazed, prepared with a blanket and winter coat in the first-row skybox.
