Touchdowns and Tunes: Travis Kelce’s Christmas Day NFL Cartoon Features Swift-Style Friendship Bracelets

Get ready for a Merry Swiftmas with Travis Kelce as he gears up to host the Las Vegas Raiders at Arrowhead Stadium on Christmas Day with the Kansas City Chiefs.

In a delightful twist, the NFL’s cartoon graphic, part of Nickelodeon’s NFL on Nickmas, embraces the romance between 34-year-old star Travis Kelce and pop sensation Taylor Swift.

In this festive portrayal, a cartoon version of Kelce, sporting his No. 87 jersey, can be seen crafting friendship bracelets alongside a Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle.

Accompanying the whimsical drawing is a caption inviting fans to “unwrap all the surprises” during the Christmas Day NFL special and challenging them to spot all the Easter eggs.

The cartoon cleverly incorporates a reference to Swift’s dedicated fanbase, the Swifties, who brought to life the lyrics “So make the friendship bracelets / Take the moment and taste it” from her song “You’re on Your Own, Kid.”

These beaded, Swift-themed bracelets became a sensation at her concerts and played a role in sparking Kelce’s initial interest before their romance.

In a sweet twist of fate, Kelce was spotted at Swift’s concert in July, engaging with fans and exchanging friendship bracelets.

On his podcast, “New Heights with Jason and Travis Kelce,” he shared his disappointment at not being able to give Swift his phone number on a bracelet due to her post-show voice-saving routine.

However, Kelce’s public shoutout on the podcast caught Swift’s attention, leading to a connection between the two.

Swift herself revealed in December that she found it “metal as hell” that Kelce had spoken about her on his podcast, and their relationship blossomed in secret before going public.

The NFL’s Nickmas cartoon not only highlights Kelce’s romantic escapades but also promotes the Chiefs’ Christmas Day game against the Las Vegas Raiders.

Quarterback Patrick Mahomes and other players from both teams are featured in the festive cartoon, adding a touch of holiday spirit to the upcoming matchup at Arrowhead Stadium.

Following a 27-17 win over the New England Patriots, the Chiefs are set to enjoy home-field advantage in what promises to be a thrilling Christmas Day game against the Raiders.
